This is the official announcement of our first (soon to be) publicly available game:

TANGO NO PEN PEN

This game is currently in production but we can give some it away. Tango No Pen Pen is a “roguelike word search adventure” game. Currently we’ve only got PC and macOS versions but the game is fairly touch friendly and we’re hoping to get it on mobile and every other conceivable platform, too.

TNPP uses a map generation technique familiar to deckbuilder fans (Slay the Spire, et al). Players progress linearly across procedurally generated maps, encountering various events, shops, and procedurally generated levels.

Levels in Pen Pen are filled with letters that Players must use to spell words. Indeed, spelling words is (mostly) the only way to progress from level to level.

There are perks, consumable items, and a mysterious things called “power letters” that players can (and indeed must) use to synergize against an ever increasing score threshold.

In addition to that, there are a ton of unique little “side quest” type activities, bosses, puzzles, mysteries, and so on.
